I returned and moved to Manchester, had my wonderful children and then a career teaching Art and Design including over twenty years co running Foundation Art and Design. Throughout the years of working and being a mum I painted sporadically as and when I could. Abstraction became my language to express different times in my life. I always had a compulsion to paint, a passion for it’s physicality and colour.
